About FRANKENMUTH CHEESE HAUS

A Family owned business in the 3rd generation of ownership/management, we carry over 270 different types of cheeses from all over the world. With 12 cheeses made "in haus", we are proud to sell many Michigan-made products. Added attractions are our Figurinespiel, Sundial, and Klaus the Cheese Haus Maus!
The Frankenmuth Cheese Haus has been a landmark in Frankenmuth since 1968 and is known for the quality cheeses we produce in addition to the many other Michigan-made products we sell. The store opened on May 28, 1968 by William "Tiny" Zehnder. Judy Zehnder Keller bought the business from her father in 1980 and operated the Cheese Haus for 42 years. Now the third generation has taken over ownership and management.
